To Schedule Lessons:
Step 1: TIP
Adults must obtain a Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP) from the Secretary of State before taking lessons. Please read the booklet “What Every Driver Must Know” which may be obtained free of charge from the Michigan Secretary of State or available online at michigan.gov/sos. This booklet includes useful information for all Michigan motorists, whatever their driving experience.
Step 2: Enroll & Pay
Schedule and pay for lessons. Choose your location below to schedule a lesson. Lessons are available by the hour. Please specify how many hours you would like. Most students start with 1 hour.
Jackson - $75/hour
Kalamazoo, Van Buren, Battle Creek - $100/hour

ABOUT THE PROGRAM –
▪ E-Z Way has instructors who specialize in private lessons for adults and adult foreign students.
▪ Our vehicles are equipped with a dual brake system for safety that is controlled by our trained and certified instructors
▪ All vehicles have automatic transmissions and include late models such as the Hyundai Elantra and Sonatas.
▪ Our instructors will pick you up and drop you off at home or work.
▪ Lessons can be scheduled for daytime, evenings, and weekends.
▪ Adults can decide how many lessons they would like to schedule. Instructors will give feedback on progress and work on the skills necessary for the road test. Please note, that each lesson will incur an additional charge.
▪ Our instructors are patient, friendly, and certified by the Michigan Department of State.
▪ Our instructors are required to have current medical forms and background checks on file with the State of Michigan.
▪ The lesson fee must be paid in advance before lessons will be scheduled.
▪ The student must present the Temporary Instruction Permit and a contract must be signed prior to beginning lessons.
